What an adorable little thing! She looks more like a manmade stuffed animal than a real live Shetland, especially with that unusual coloring. I'll be interested to learn what more experienced shepherds say. I know Bill Stearman had an unusual ram lamb last year; don't know that I ever heard a verdict on that color.
I agree with Juliann. I'd say she's Awt (white) with lots of phaeomelanin. It makes the white fiber look tanish/goldish/reddish. What a beauty!! A lot of the pigment will probably fade but it is such a beautiful birth color! I'd take lots of pictures as she's a very unique lamb!!
Thanks everyone! I have a little ram lamb that is colored similarly but not as striking. I was thinking they would both fade to white eventually. I do love the little stripe down her back though. :)

I'm going to guess Awt with lots of pheo.
She's cute! :)

Her markings almost match one of the baby goats :-)
