Eagle Watching

This has been the longest winter I can remember for quite a few years now. We have passed some of the time by enjoying the many eagles we have in the area. These pics were taken at the Cannon Dam at Mark Twain Lake just a couple of weeks ago. We have counted as many as 7 or 8 at one time around the dam. Unfortunately, a couple of eagles have also been spotted perched in the tree above my chicken coop! It's neat to see them out your back door but maybe that is a little too close for comfort. lol

Nice pictures, Debbie! It's good to see you post again, I know the summers can get busy. We moved to Hannibal, bought land near New London and are trying to get the sheep moved up here, too!

Hi Angela! So glad you were able to find a place. We need to get together sometime. If we can get a day or two with good weather! lol Stay warm and be safe in this snow.
